The state spends millions of dolalrs annually treating sex offenders while they are in prison, in an effort to reduce the rate at which they re-offend after being released from prison. Representative Ken Summers, R-Lakewood, has introduced a bill that will let the state track how well these programs work, so that we can make sure that only sex offenders who are truly no longer risks to society are released.
