Senate Minority Leader Josh Penry's opening day speech

As the second regular session of the 67th Colorado General Assembly was called into session today, Sen. Minority Leader Josh Penry, called on legislators to work across the aisle when possible to solve the serious issues facing the state. Yet, Penry was quick to note that Republicans in the Senate believe reducing and reforming government is the correct way to reconcile budget shortfalls, not tax and fee increases.
