DENVER--The Senate remembered Staff Sergeant Justin Bauer for service to his community and country, which was tragically cut short when Bauer lost his life fighting for freedom in Iraq.
Sen. Kevin Lundberg, R-Berthoud, presented a resolution designating a portion of State Highway 56 as a memorial honoring Bauer. “Justin was an excellent soldier, and we will never be able to fully express our gratitude for the sacrifice he and so many others have made,” Lundberg said. “His generation and their service to this country gives me great hope for our future.”
