Senate Minority Leader Bill Cadman

Senator Bill Cadman represents Colorado State Senate District 12 which includes North Eastern Colorado Springs and rural El Paso County. He serves as the Senate Minority Leader and he represents the voice of the Colorado Senate Republican Caucus in the State Senate.

Bill is in his thirteenth year in the legislature. Prior to the Senate, he served 7 years in the House. Cadman also serves on the Colorado Statewide Internet Portal Authority board. Prior to running for office in 2000, Bill served as the District Office Manager for Congressman Joel Hefley.

Assistant Senate Minority Leader Mark Scheffel

Senator Mark Scheffel represents Colorado State Senate District 4 in Douglas County which includes: Castle Rock, Parker, Franktown, Larkspur and Castle Pines. Senator Scheffel serves as the Assistant Senate Minority Leader, making him the second-highest ranking Republican in the Colorado Senate.

Mark graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in finance. He then went to the John Marshall School of Law where he obtained his juris doctor. Later, Mark earned his LL.M. (master of laws) degree from New York University’s School of Law.

Republican Caucus Chairman Scott Renfroe

Senator Scott Renfroe represents State Senate District 13 which includes most of Weld County and including the cities of Greeley, Evans, Windsor and Eaton. He serves as the Senate Republican Caucus Chairman who is responsible for convening caucus meetings and organizing the legislative efforts of the Colorado Senate Republicans.

Scott Renfroe grew up in Greeley, where he met his wife Pamela while they were attending Eaton High School. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in business administration.

Senate Minority Whip Kevin Grantham

Kevin Grantham represents Colorado State Senate District 2 which includes: Clear Creek, Park, Teller, Fremont, and parts of El Paso County. He serves as the Senate Minority Whip who is in charge of coordinating the Republican Caucus in its response to legislation and other matters.

A husband and father of two, a small businessman, an elected representative - these are a few experiences that have so far shaped the life of Kevin Grantham. The youngest of five children, Kevin grew up in the rural farming community of Crowley County in southeastern Colorado that was and still is characterized by good, honest people, who have endured all manner of hardships. It is here that Kevin was raised by loving parents who instilled early on the importance of honesty, integrity, and faith in God. He built on those foundations over the next few years of college and the beginnings of his career.

Senator David Balmer

Senator David Balmer is honored to represent the citizens of Senate District 27, which covers part of Arapahoe County.

Prior to being elected to the Senate, David served in the House of Representatives for 4 terms. From 2007 to 2010, David served as the Assistant House Republican Leader. From 1994-2008, he served in various positions with Cherokee Investment Partners, the nation’s largest private equity firm specializing in brownfield redevelopment. Cherokee has purchased over 300 contaminated sites across North America and Europe. Cherokee closed its Denver office in 2008.

Senator Ellen Roberts

Ellen Roberts represents Colorado's 6th Senate District which includes Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, San Juan and San Miguel Counties.

Since being elected to office, Ellen Roberts has distinguished herself as a capable and thoughtful legislator. The Denver Post reported, “In her first term as State Representative, Ellen has been a rising star in the Colorado State House. Her non-partisan positions on issues critical to the state of Colorado and to her constituents have earned her respect from both voters and fellow lawmakers. As one legislator stated “If you want a bill passed, give it to Ellen Roberts.”

Senator Randy Baumgardner

Senator Randy Baumgardner represents the citizens of Senate District 8 in Northwestern Colorado. His district includes Garfield, Moffat, Rio Blanco, Routt, Grand, Jackson and Summit Counties.

Prior to being elected to the Senate Randy served in the Colorado House of Representatives for four years. He previously worked for the Colorado Department of Transportation for eleven years. Randy currently operates two ranches,one between Hot Sulpher Springs and Granby and another North of Cowdrey.

Randy has a passion for land and water rights, education reform, and healthcare solutions. He frequently met with North American Water, the Denver Water Board and works with numerous county commissioners to find solutions to the water issues facing the counties that make up Senate District 8.

Senator Greg Brophy

Senator Greg Brophy represents Colorado State Senate District 1 which includes: Cheyenne, Elbert, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Prowers, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma Counties.

State Senator Greg Brophy serves Colorado Senate District 1, a large rural district in Eastern Colorado. He was first elected to the House in 2002, won a vacancy committee appointment to the Senate in 2005 and won election to the Senate in 2006 with nearly 72% of the vote.

Greg is the ranking member of the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, and Legislative Legal Services Committee.

Greg was born in Holyoke, Colorado and grew up on his family’s farm in the sandhills north of Wray, Colorado. He graduated from Wray High School where he was a state champion wrestler. He graduated in 1988 from Colorado State University with a degree in Animal Sciences.

Senator Owen Hill

Senator Owen Hill represents the citizens of Senate District 10 in El Paso County. He and his wife Emily have four children: Kaiden (7), Miette (5), Ellis (4), and Elinor (2).

After getting involved in the community, Owen realized that it was not good enough to complain about our loss of Liberty, but that we have to join with those who have pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to the idea of limited constitutional government.

Senator Ted Harvey

Senator Ted Harvey represents Colorado State Senate District 30 which includes: Northern Douglas County (Roxborough Park, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker)

As the son of a Vietnam era fighter pilot Senator Ted Harvey has an undying passion to preserve the freedoms and liberties that generations of men and women have sacrificially secured for this nation. Ted’s father flew 110 missions in Vietnam; he was one of the first 20 men to fly twice the speed of sound. To Ted his father was larger than life. Unfortunately, his fathers life was cut short by a heart attack at the age of 38. Still, his love for this country and his conservative ideals remain very much alive in Ted and in the lives of his brother and sister.
