Today Senator Scott Renfroe, R-Greeley, was honored by the Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) as their Statesman of the Year at a rally outside the Capitol. Each year CHEC honors a Representative or Senator who best emulates the qualities of a true selfless leader in the arena of public policy.
“As an advocate for the educators, families and students in homeschools across Colorado, I am honored to receive this award,” said Renfroe. “I will continue to stand up for the rights of parents who choose to educate their children at home.”
