JOBS AND THE ECONOMY
Senate Republicans believe in the power and opportunity of America's free-market economy. We have engaged with business leaders and citizens across the state, listened to their concerns and turned their suggestions into legislation that will help keep and create jobs. We are dedicated to strengthening Colorado with a pro-growth economic agenda and will continue to advocate for businesses so they may thrive in our great state.




SPENDING AND TAXES
Senate Republicans believe that people and small businesses should be allowed to live and grow without the constraints of excessive taxes and regulation. Costly and overlapping government programs should be eliminated. Government should be held within its legitimate Constitutional function.






2nd AMENDMENT RIGHTS
Senate Republicans strongly believe in upholding Coloradans' Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.









EDUCATION
Education reform is a high priority for the Senate Republicans. We believe that the quality of education is measured by outcomes and that parents are the best judges of their children’s educational needs. We support parental choice, educational advancement and teacher salaries based on student achievement.






ENERGY
Senate Republicans believe in an "All-of –the-Above" approach concerning energy development. It is imperative to develop the next generation of energy while continuing to use the abundant natural resources found in Colorado. Lowering energy costs by using our state’s rich natural resources is the foundation for continued growth and economic security.







HEALTH CARE
Senate Republicans are committed to supporting common-sense health care reforms that will lower costs, promote quality and preserve health care choices. We believe in putting patients first and we oppose any government run system that obstructs the patient-doctor relationship. Government bureaucrats have no place interfering between you and your doctor.
